Lets save the waters!

Oh my I did not know how bold I was with that other post... Sorry I was not felling very good so I edited this post. I needed something to complain about.
Lets begin shall we?

Now you know about that oil spill? No one know what caused it. I think it was the wight of the oil can that caused it to tip to one side. The oil that is spreading out across the ocean will damage the fish in the water. This will make horrible causes to our food chain. The sharks will need something new to eat. Then they will die out with nothing else to eat. Then whales will maybe be next, then other creatures will follow. This will cause really bad results. Now even if you pick a bottle cap from a bird bath, be proud of yourself! Do you know if you did that you just helped? Or lets say you could pick something from a river or lake. You just helped! One person could help the water. Hey, maybe you could even pick paper or twigs from a puddle! That's helping! Trash is not the only thing that messes up water, twigs and leaves do the same! You could help by pulling twigs, sticks, trash, bottle caps, paper or leaves from a puddle, river, lake or ocean!

Again, I'm sorry about the other post. :(

Hello! While everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion, please be less sharp about humans in general. We don't want to spark 'Humans are evil' discussions.

I'll edit it out for you, okay? :)

Picking up trash definitely helps. =3 Can't really think of anything else off the top of my head at this very moment, but I did read an article about a contest on WWF's site about finding better and safer ways of fishing that would help save the lives of other marine animals, mainly by reducing bycatch.
Though it may not be the same as what your talking about, it's still one of the various methods of how people are trying to help every body of water and the life that's in them:

I have this little stream near to my house. My best friend and me were walking around one day seeing some other friends and their little sisters letting paper boats in the water, made from newspapers. And other trash.

We sort of told them the ducks might choke in it or it would pollute otherwise, and they got mad at us and left. We took a long while clearing up their mess from both the water and the bushes around. Some people are silly. :/
