Would you live with wolves if you had a chance to?

I would try but then again I wouldn't be able to live as long because of the harsh conditions.

But then again it would be really cool if you could survive!

In the Vancouver film festival, there is a swedish movie about a woman who lives with wild wolves on a raincoast island in British columbia. the only info i got about the upcoming film was in I think swedish.....or another language atleast. personally I think she`s jeperdizing an animal that currently has a bounty over its head by associtating people as being friendly. anyways, I googled raincoast wolves film too see all the web sites that advertised for the small film.

I would live with a wolf pack if I were a wolf. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't let me join them. But unless I was born into the pack, there is a good chance they'd drive me off if I were a wolf too.

Well, if the wolves would have me, then I'd like to live with a wolf pack. Maybe I could teach them how to recognize and avoid helicopters before it's too late.

I remember seeing that doctumentry. It cost him his family, but he is truly dedicated to helping animals. You don't see many people who are that selfless and passionate

Agreed, it would be really hard. Not to mention he had a LOT of training/knowledge about wolves before undertaking such a thing. If somebody were to do it with barely any knowledge (or no knowledge) of wolves, they could end up seriously hurt..or dead for that matter.

I mean, not to make wolves appear bad or anything but they are just like any wild animal. If one misunderstands certain warning signals, then one is liable to get hurt.

Back on topic, it would be hard..if not impossible to live with a wild wolf pack mainly cause one doesn't have the body of a wolf to even keep up with them. I hear they walk a really long distance to find food? Not to mention they can go for weeks without it, I think people would go nuts without such immediate nourishment. Not to mention one could have malnourishment because the whole diet would be meat (and sometimes the meat of fish) which an omnivore can't really sustain for long.

Sure it would be a nice thing to be able to experience but..I guess it would feel fake to me unless I was a real wolf intertwined with the pack anyway.

I would, honestly I find Wolves to be beautiful and mysterious creatures and I have always wanted to see one up close and mabye have a small bond with them, although I do know that a wild Wolf might try and rip my face off before it would trust me I still think it would be an amazing experience to have. ^^

No. Humans aren't meant for survival in the wolves' natural habitat. Its unlikely that a wild wolf would trust a human anyway. I might live on a wolf center, helping care for captive wolves, but not in the wild with them.
