International Wolf Center embarks on fundraiser for new pups

Post by Koa » Tue Jul 21, 2015 7:42 pm

Aidan, Denali, Boltz, Luna and Grizzer. These ambassador wolves have fascinated thousands of annual visitors in their natural north woods exhibit at the International Wolf Center. Next spring, two new pups will arrive! Managing their health, comfort and safety doesn’t happen without planning and preparation. We need your help to get ready!

They've met about 86% percent of their goal so far as of this post; thought I'd share this here!

It is amazing to see that they have already received so many donations and have almost met the goal they originally set out to reach. I am sure those wolves do amazing work as ambassadors and it will be wonderful seeing the new additions do the same. Thanks for sharing! XD

I was wondering if they actually planned on adding any new wolves to the Retired Pack (as Grizzer is currently the only member) with this new addition, but I don't think that is the case (yet).
They have now reached 92% of their goal, with a little over $1,000 to go.

Indeed, Paypal would be nice. And you're welcome.
They've met their goal and slightly exceeded it - $19,840 out of $19,640! I'll post a thread when the puppies arrive. :)

I'm so happy for the puppies! I can't get over there though because I live far away from Ely but I am a member of the IWC so I get their quarterly magazine.

Great news! I love watching the wolf cams, and apparently they're looking into setting up another cam for the new pups when they arrive! Super excited to see them.

Do you know if there's any info on the new pups? I couldn't find any on the IWC site.

Oh cool this is a first for me seeing something like this. Never really thought of a fundraiser for wolf's before for some reason. XD
I wish I had a way to do PayPal or cash or something because I don't really have a credit card just yet. Thanks for sharing this though~

The fundraiser is over, so you needn't contribute to it anymore (unless you want to contribute in other ways).

I haven't found anything, either. I'll keep looking.
