I laughed a bit at this, simply because it was quite the funny sight to see a wolf just go and hop on a treadmill. I am sure some hard work went on for this entire process to even happen and so for that alone I commend them on their efforts. I think their central question is a good one and I look forward to potentially reading the outcome of it all someday in the future. It will definitely be interesting to see the amount of differences that are displayed between the different groups. Thanks for posting this, Koa. XD

Oh my gosh, that is the funniest thing ever! But all the same, it has such great scientific value. Even without the studies the caretakers came up with, I imagine the treadmill will eliminate hours of boredom for the wolves. They are, after all, meant to trot huge distances their pens don't allow. It will be fascinating to see what the study concludes--I'll have to keep track of this project. Thank you for sharing Koa!
