Wolf Center Welcomes New Pups Into the Pack
By Baihly Warfield, June 6th, 2016
WDIO-TV

Axel and Grayback arrived at the International Wolf Center from Canada less than two weeks ago . . . The [arctic wolf] pups are 38 days old, and visitors can see them during a program four times a day. Staff said they sleep about 16 hours per day, but they were playfully growling, biting and pouncing on each other during Monday's first program.

Axel and Grayback are "temporary nicknames," so stay tuned for a naming contest!

Aw they're so adorable! I actually quite like the nicknames that they've already been given, but I'll also be interested to see what their final names will be. Thanks for posting!

I think Axel is cute. Grayback sounds intimidating for something that is currently a pup! (I also don't think it "fits" with Axel, but that's just me.)
