Apparently the family brought a dog with them when they weren't supposed to.

I'm glad they made sure to mention the dog in the article, instead of just making it look like the wolf was at fault. I hope they get fined for that, they should know better. :/

Definitely bring your one dog on an island you are on. There's no way a wolf could find or smell your dog on an island!
