Thank you so much after having a pup die and quickly exiting the game (w/out saving :) ) I went in search of a guide to help me and this will help so much! Not sure which of my pups is the most stupid yet but I think it is between *noname* and Hunter. Lol I do believe pups have personalities.

I have 2 tips:
1)You know when you come back onto a game you get a fly over at the beginning? Do the same on the predator zoom-ins and it will skip the zoom-in. This way you can protect your pups better and easier.
2)When you see the Golden Eagle, back away from your pups and zoom all the way out(by pressing the - button) so that you can see all your pups. Keep it in sight and follow it at all times by turning your wolf round, but do not go near it. If you charge at it before it has landed, it will just go back up and will come straight back down again(but in a different place). Wait until it has landed and then charge straight towards it(don't start madly clicking/pressing space bar like I did the first time because you can't bite it!)

(since I have duck no idea if that was acccurate...)

Hello,
Sorry, but English is only allowed here on WolfQuest. We cannot help you if we cannot understand you, as translators are not always accurate. Thanks! (I have no idea if this is accurate or not...)

Sometimes it's a bad idea to have loads of carcasses in your territory.
If there is a ton of elk carcasses in or around your territory, chanches are more predators and stranger wolves will stop by to visit. When I was playing, i encountered two bears, two coyotes, and two stranger wolves all in ten mintues. I wasn;t even on the Defend Your Pups misson either/ The problem was that there was so many carcasses everywhere. In fact, the stanger wolf I turtle was only meteres from my den. Five seconds after I chased him off I encountered another stranger wolf. Both were beside the same carcass. Sometimes it's better to eat up more than nessary and hunt a bit more. If you still have to choose a den, look around. If there is lots of carcasses, you might want to choose another den/

Thanks, this is very helpful!
I noticed that I had TONS of carcasses in my territory, and I already have chased off seven grizzlies, five coyotes, and many wolves!

Your welcome! I've also noticed that 95% of the time in I encounter bears in SC or AM, it's always besidean elk carcass.
Iv'e also noticed that BisonPeak Cutoff has the least carcasses, at least in my experince. Maybe I should go there next time..

Yep. Otherwise they just run away. Except one time in AM it glitched and I defeated the bear then it poofed, so my pack stats didn't change...

I completed SC with all four pups before reading this, but this guide has a lot of nice tips I'll be sure to try with a new wolf and pups... I'm certain it'll make my life easier the next time around. XD *nods* Thanks!
