I love 'The Sight' i actually finished reading The Sight (Sight, #1) few days ago and i should be getting Fell (The Sight, #2) pretty soon! :D

Hnngggg, I wish I could say I liked this book - but in all honesty, it annoyed me. Larka is arguably the biggest Wolfy Sue out there, and Fell isn't nearly any better.
I was quite pleased with Fell's development in his own book, though; David Clement-Davies has such a beautiful writing style!

His writing style stood out to me when I read both books. I am sure I have criticized the books somewhere on this thread, but I do think back on them fondly. I read The Sight twice, and I think it is one of the very few books (if not the only book) that I have re-read, so that says something.

i think i read these books a long time ago but i don't remember much of them. maybe i'll go back and reread them sometime

I really liked "Fire Bringer" by the same author which focuses on a herd of red deer, "The Sight" not so much. With the exception of the main villainess (who at least had a good backstory), most of the characters in that book seemed to have no role in the plot except to be expendable. Larka was a little too perfect and the stories about Tor and Fenris seemed cliche and formulaic to me. So I ended up really enjoying one of his books and disliking another one.
