This is a really good book just like "Runt". One of the best wolf books I've ever read.

I've read all of them. The first is best.It gets too...different after that. The wolves' point of view is cool, but I like the Julie only better.

Jean Craighead George is my favorite author. I just today picked out the first two books in the triology, as I already had the last one. I have already read the first and last, but it was so... what's the word?.... Beautiful, heartwarming, amazing, breathtaking, unique that just HAD to read the entire series AGAIN. I am one of those people who is extremely obsessed with wolves; in fact when I am old enough to I would like to move to Alaska and open up a wolf rehabilitation centre, and I will also be studying wolves in their natural habitats, and will be writing books (using my knowledge, but they will be fiction) about them.

This series is beautiful. It was my favorite wolf series for years. There's also a picture book sequel: "Nutik the Wolf Pup". It's the only one I haven't read yet, as it's Out Of Print.

My favorite characters are Kapu and Sweet Fur Amy, oh, and Miyax(Julie).

"The Windwater Pack" thread is dead. Any info on further installments/developments will be on my website, which has a link on my profile.

That said, gonna try and be more active, if I can figure out how to get back in the swing of things.

I love these books! I've only read the first one ( Julie of the wolves) and the third one ( Julie's wolf pack) though, because I just never "got into" Julie.(The second one) I finished the first chapter and was like "Okay this is boring." (That is just my opinion, that doesn't mean you shouldn't read it) I've also read the picture book one, "Nutik the Wolf Pup or something like that. It was cute. Anyways, these are great books and I definatly recomend them! :D
