I just finished the third book, "Watch Wolf", today, and it was my favorite of them all so far. There is a fourth coming, "Frost Wolf". Can't wait for it. :D

From what mostly everyone is saying shows that this book is apparently a good read. ^^ would you recommend it? I am looking for a book to get caught up in at the moment. This may be the one.

It is a good book, and I do reccommend it. (I haven't read Lone Wolf or Shadow Wolf in a while, though. Just Watch Wolf. Again, so far that one was my favorite. You can start with the second or third one, but you can read them in whichever order you'd like. :D )

I has spoilers  !
:!: DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS SERIES :!:
-------------------------------------------。☆。*。☆。
------------------------------------------★。\|/。★
Wolves Of The Beyond book 1: Lone Wolf
In the harsh wilderness beyond the owl world of Ga’Hoole, a wolf mother hides in fear.
‍Her newborn pup, otherwise healthy, has a twisted paw. The mother knows the rigid rules of her kind.
‍The pack cannot have weakness. Her pup must be abandoned in the forest to die.
‍But alone in the woods, the pup, Faolan, does the unthinkable. He survives.
‍This is Faolan’s story, the story of a courageous young wolf who rises up to change forever the wolves of the Beyond.

Wolves Of The Beyond book 2: Shadow Wolf
The wolf pup Faolan was born with a twisted paw, a slight defect that caused his wolf clan to abandon him in the forest to die.
‍But Faolan, with the help of the grizzly bear who raised him as her own, survived.
‍Now he's made it back to his clan as a gnaw wolf, the lowest ranking pack member.
‍And the hardships are just beginning. Another gnaw wolf, Heep, is jealous of Faolan and sets him up for failure. As if these humiliations are not enough, Faolan is framed for the murder of a wolf pup.
‍Faolan must catch the culprit in time and prove he deserves to be a full member of the clan.

Wolves Of The Beyond book 3: Watch Wolf
Faolan and Edme have became wolves of the Watch and had to go on a journey before they could join.
Meanwhile, Edme's former clan, the MacHeaths planned a war between the bears and the Wolves of the Watch.
They started with the first phase of the plan, which is to capture a bear cub. Only Faolan can prevent this war from happening.

Wolves Of The Beyond book 4: Frost Wolf
Faolan has always been an outsider. Exiled as a pup, then shunned by his fellow wolves for his unusual connection to the bears, Faolan has struggled to earn a place in the pack.
‍But a terrible danger is looming on the horizon, and Faolan is the only one who knows how to fight it. Will he be able to claim his rightful place as leader?
‍Unless Faolan can inspire the pack to stand together, it could be the end of the wolves of the beyond.

Wolves Of The Beyond book 5: Ice Wolf (May 2012)
Faolan, a wolf once doomed to die, struggles to fufill his destiny as the leader of the wolves of beyond. No one ever saw Faolan as a leader. Banished as a pup, he survived and returned as a gnaw wolf-the lowest member of the wolf pack. But Faolan wasn't meant to be a gnaw wolf. It's not just his strange, splayed paw, or his uncanny connection with the bears. There's something about Faolan that inspires certain wolves . . . and leaves others deeply suspicious. Now, with a dangerous threat on the horizon, the pack must make a choice. Will they trust the silver outsider with the task of leading? If Faolan can't fulfill his destiny, it could be the end of the wolves of the beyond.

I love this series. :3
I recently concluded Watch Wolf, and I am trying to get Frost Wolf, which was released on the 4th.
Also, Maple_fromTheBeyond, those aren't spoilers...those are just summaries of what the book is about. Aren't exactly what you call you a spoiler.
Anyway, Frost Wolf, Watch Wolf, and the unnamed fifth book, each have very similar plots. :o
Even Frost Wolf and ____ end with "it could be the end of the wolves of they beyond," which worries me a bit.

Anywho, I love this series<3
Can't wait to get Frost Wolf!

Hm... I'll have to have a look at it. I finished GOG a few months ago but I still remember what happened; I'll be back when I get it!
The Season of Snow sets in
The trees be bare and dim
The rocks so cold and raw
Frost covers the endless moor
The prey be fast asleep
The cycle is almost complete
The test to reveal the best has begun
There is no way out, no way to run

Okay... I've just finished Shadow Wolf.
I wouldn't say this is the best thing I have read for I got bored lots of times and actually skipped parts or chapters, I feel the book(s) should actually draw you in instead of simply explain and show. Anyway, great idea, great inspiration and and great topic. I love animals and their behavious and Lasky seems to have included all that somehow.
Can't wait to get my eyes on Watch Wolf!
