I have this book called The Wolf Almanac. it's about wolves and how they live, plus the persecutions they suffer. Plus it has alot about wolf behavior and how the pack system works. It is a very detailed book about wolves and if you want to learn about wolves this would be a very good book to buy. so what are the opinions of the people who have read it?

Oh I definitely agree with that. This book has helped me answer questions on this forum more times than I can even remember. It's a fantastic book, but if you buy it, be sure you buy the revised, updated version.

I bought that book (the updated version) at the Haliburton Wolf Centre. Haven't started reading it though - try to get into the school mindset.

I have found that book on the International Wolf Center's wolf resources list. I tried to get it at the library but I couldn't find it. Hopefully someday I can read it. ^^

I just aquired this book recently from a friend of my parents, and they gave it to me (updated version, by the way). Indeed, its a great book, it really does answer a lot of questions about wolves and teaches a lot. I still have a bit more to read, but so far the book is great! I'd also reccommend the book to anyone who wishes to learn more about wolves.

I finally got a copy (via the internet)! It is the revised edition and it contains a lot of information and clears a lot of things up, though I did notice that it stuill uses the terms Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
It certainly is a good source of information and a good reference; I reccomend reading it if you haven't already =)
