I love Promise of the Wolves, it's one of my favourite books. Dorothy Hearst is a very talented author in my opinion. Hopefully I can drag my mom to a book store to buy the second book, Secret of the Wolves. ^-^
figure it out.

I've got it from the library yesterday, looking forward to reading it. I didn't know there was a second book as well, I'll be sure to check that one out of I like the first.

It's a really good story but very un-realistic. C:

She finally came out with the second one huh? Sheesh I saw it in the library the other day and I was like "Hey I have that book...no wait...I have Promise of the Wolves...not Secret of the Wolves...hmm I wonder what it's about" *reads back* "Oh...its the SEQUEL! I can't believe I just stumbled upon the sequel, man when was this thing finally published?!"

2011?!! August 2?!! Recently?!!

I got Promise of the Wolves YEARS ago. I almost can't believe it took her almost 4 years to write the sequel. Most authors I know finish the second book in about a year. And to think I gave up on that book. After waiting for what seemed like ages I thought the author would never get around to finishing.

But at this stage, I"ll be like..30 before she's done.

My mom bought Secret of the Wolves for me yesterday. I finished it today. I have to say it was truly amazing, and her writing just blew me away. She left the biggest cliff-hanger ever, and I certainly do hope she plans to write a third book soon! I was quite sad that she killed off two of my favourite characters though...8C
figure it out.

Hopefully. ^^
I Haven't read the second book yet, nor have I even gotten it, but I do hope to find it somewhere soon!

She... Kills off two characters? D;>
Does it say in the back of the book, the name of the next one? Or even a Preview of it?
(Sorry, I'm just curious. xD)

I've been reading this book and so far I'm loving it! :D I've just got up to the last chapter.
Throughout, I question kept nagging at me; I wondered if the Greatwolves, Jandru and Frandra were supposed to be dire wolves?

I've read the first two books in the series. Promise of the Wolves was actually how I found out about WolfQuest in the first place.
