That's basically what I was thinking! WHY did the author have to kill off my two favorite characters from the first book? It's a great series though.

I sent her two bits of fan mail and she encouraged my work greatly <3 I'm a huge fan of the books and the author. Spirit of the wolves, the last one, will come out in December. Her blog started up again!

I was quite disappointed with the 3rd book in the series. The ending came out of left field (out of nowhere) and made no sense. There wasn't any closure on any of the other characters, either. It just ended abruptly.

It ruined the series for me.

My thoughts exactly. I wonder if she was striving for an unexpected ending so badly, that it ruined her story. But seriously though, it made no sense.
