  • Ooo yay! Fun topic!

Okay, I will nominate an obvious choice: Off-White by Deviantart users Akreon and Tanathe. And another, although discontinued, could be Black Blood Alliance by KateFedewa, also of DA. Ha, while were at it, might as well put forth Twilight Spirits by DA's BlueShineWolf.

Oooh, also Wurr by WolfPearl and Wolf's Rain Next Generation by NatsumeWolf. And Wild Fangs by Tenaga. Might as well get Spiritual Stones by SheltieWolf in there too^^. Gosh, didn't realize I knew of so many until now! And Giderah by Plaguedog :P And Over the Mountans and Far away by Skailla. OKI'mdonenow.

Also, would webcomics like Strays count? The characters are "lupians", but not true wolves. Also, what about comics that have wolves in them, but they aren't the only species concerning the main characters? The definition of a "wolf webcomic" is a little sketchy here for entries like that, involving wolf-like species.

Thanks -- perhaps I should have clarified. Actual wolves only is what I meant... no wolf-like creatures, hybrids, or werewolves and ilk. Wolves should be the main focus of the webcomic. I know that seems a little restrictive, but when you consider all of the webcomics out there, there's simply too many and that helps narrow it down. :)

  • Oh okay, that makes logical sense to me. In that case, eliminate Wolf's Rain Next Gen and Strays. And Wurr, since those guys are hell-hounds and dogs.

I enjoy reading Over The Mountains and Far Away by Skailla on deviantART, which is a pretty awesome comic, but she put it on standby in order to focus on other projects like her new comic revolving around dogs.

This thread is pretty old and was supposed to be a poll of comics for that year... I'll just change the title/description I guess so generalized "favorite wolf webcomic" posts are relevant.

Aside from Wurr, I can't really say I have many favorite wolf comics. Most just sorta blur together for me.

There's this really neat mini-comic on dA made by Droemar which I really like, though. It's called "Canis," and it's a deconstruction on most amateur wolf comics. It's worth a look for both the comic itself and the artist's commentary, but it's slightly graphic.

My favorite DeviantArt webcomic is ONWARD. It's a very interesting story with beautiful artwork. I recommend checking it out! I won't spoil to much. My favorite character in the comic is Tacoro who is known for his unique introductions when greeting strangers.

I have heard of Over The Mountains and Far Away but I'm not sure if I've ever read it. Then there's indeed Onward. c:
And Off-White, Wurr, but those are more unrealistic so I don't really know if they fit in this topic here.

I heard Onward's earlier pages are being redone, right?

I'm not really sure. I don't think I've heard of any re-draws. If I remember correctly, new pages come out every Friday.

Hmm... then I might be talking about the wrong comic...?
Onward had this wolf character that got attacked by some sort of black coated magical wolf after chasing a rabbit into some thorned bushies, right? And she got wounded and it was some sort of magical wound... I dunno anymore.

Maybe you're right. I'd have to check it out. I'm starting to read Off-White right now.
