The Five Clans
Welcome. The Five Clans Pack is an active friendly Roleplay, based off of Erin Hunter's Warrior series. While there have been many Warriors Roleplays in the past, what makes ours unique is that our website allows you to choose between joining one of the Five clans: Thunderclan, Windclan, Riverclan, Shadowclan, or Sunclan. Our site has a very welcoming community, with enticing RolePlay plots, activities, contests, and even a yearly raffle! While being based on a popular book series, it is still a semi-realistic RolePlay.
So, are you ready to pick your Clan and choose how your destiny will unfold? Well, get ready to enter the world of The Five Clans. Step lightly, each Clan is very protective of their boundaries....

History of the clans
Long ago, the lands were wild and untamed. Elk migrated through the forests and deer grazed upon the moors, while the rivers ran, choked with fish. Forests, rivers, swamps, and moorlands, all remained undisturbed and at peace. That was before the wolves came. Thin and tough, their pelts lingering with scents of a faraway place, they came alone or in small packs. These wolves were our ancestors. Without any kind of code to guide them however, these wolves became anxious and savage in their ways, and many fierce battles were fought. The battles became so fierce and bloody, that one night starry wolves interviened, and the wolves fighting there decided to divide themselves into four clans of honorable warriors. You know these clans as Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan, and Shadowclan. These were the four original. Many moons passed and for the most part, the clans lived in peace, developing laws we call the Warrior Code. But when dificult times struck, Riverclan and Shadowclan decided to merge into one, strong clan. This clan became Stormclan, a clan that is unique in that it combines Riverclan's water abilties, and Shadowclan's cunning nature. Around this time, a wolf from Windclan named Direblood gathered several wolves from all the clans who felt out of place in their homes. These were the founders of Sunclan, a clan of diversity who lives in the high mountains. This clan is a place for those who feel as if they don't belong or who need a fresh start. Due to politics in the clan Stormclan split and became Shadowclan and Riverclan again.

Rank Meanings
Loner: Wolves who do not belong in a clan or to a Two-leg. These wander around freely in the Loner Lands. Loners on occasion are allowed into one of the four clans. For the most part, Loners live by themselves and can be quite hostile to each other or the other clans.
Pup: The smallest, youngest wolves in the pack. Most users start out as a pup, however this is not a requirement. Pups are known for their mischievous nature and ability to get in places they shouldn't. When becoming an Apprentice, Pups partake in a special ritual.
Apprentices: Wolves who have mentors and are learning the ways of the Warrior Code. If they hunt, they must feed the elders first. They are always supposed to be obedient to their mentors and obey the Warrior Code. As an apprentice, you will be assigned a mentor depending on which rank is available and you are interested in. When becoming warriors or medicine wolves, apprentices partake in a special ritual. When becoming a Medicine Apprentice, they will get to go to the Moon Cave and share dreams with StarClan.
Warriors: Full members of The Five Clans who have proved their worthiness. They can go on patrols, fight, and potentially become a Deputy. Additionally they can have Apprentices, whom they teach.
Queens (female wolves only): She-wolves expecting or nursing pups. They usually stay inside a nursery or camp with their pups. When the pups are weaned and are apprentices, the queen is free to return to her Warrior duties. While it is allowed to have pups with a wolf from another clan, it is not guarenteed that the character in Rp will not be thrown out of the clan if found out about. This largely depends on his or her clan's leader.
Medicine Wolves: The wolves closest to StarClan, whom are our ancestors. They receive prophesies at times that mean different things, good or bad. When appointed to become a Medicine Wolf, they go to the Moon Cave and share dreams with StarClan. These wolves take care of the pack with their life and are forbidden to have pups. Medicine Wolves have knowledge of different plants for different ailments. A Medicine Wolf takes on one, singular apprentice, who then trains to become a Medicine Wolf. After training, the apprentice will become a medicine wolf when the time is right. There is only one Medicine Wolf and his/her apprentice per Clan.
Elders: The Pack Council of each Clan. They are wise and know the ways of the world, but are occasionally cranky and short-fused! They are the oldest members of the pack who have retired from their Warrior or Medicine Wolf duties.
Deputy: The Deputy of the Clan is a high honor. Only one wolf is chosen at a time. There is a large gap between appointing one deputy and appointing the next. This wolf is the second-in-command of their Clan. When you are appointed deputy, it is a sign that the leader truly respects you and that you may soon lead the Clan yourself.
Clan Leader: The Clan Leader is the leader of their pack. They accept members, punish rulebreakers, and are Administrators on the website. They are the overseers of the pack and help decide promotions as well as organizing contests and other events. Never be afraid to approach this wolf, as they are there to help out their members.

[RIVERCLAN]
Applications: OPEN PUP, APPRENTICES, MED APPRENTICE NEEDED AND WARRIORS
RiverClan is home to the best swimmers of the forest. The majority of these wolves don't mind the water and are skilled fishers. When the weather is nice and warm, RiverClan wolves can be found sunning themselves by the shore or splashing around in the shallows. Their prey consists mostly of fish and waterfowl, with the occasional squirrel, vole or even deer. They tend to be more laid-back and may be perceived by the other Clans as lazy. RiverClan wolves have been known to collect shells and feathers from near the river or beach to line their nests with.

[SHADOWCLAN]
Applications: OPEN- PUPS, APPRENTICES, AND MED WOLF APPRENTICE
ShadowClan is home to the proud and cunning. They have a reputation for being deceitful, arrogant and cold-hearted; however, this does not hold true for every ShadowClan warrior. Most ShadowClan wolves are stealthy and can keep hidden from even the sharpest of eyes. ShadowClan's territory is swampy and marshy, and lizards and toads make up a large part of their diet. They also eat voles, squirrels, deer, and other forest prey. One should take heed not to anger ShadowClan, for they are known to be fierce in battle.
