my question is: do adult female offspring (of the alphas) tend to stay longer in the pack than males? i saw on discovery a thing on yellowstone wolves and it said that a lone male approached a female in a pack and mated her. does this mean that female wolves stay in the pack and wait for roving males to come to them? (kinda like with meerkats?) if this is true, why wasnt this incorperated into wolfquest game?
thank you very much for responding and sharing your opinions and knowledge with me.

Re: Females in the pack
Actually Mech found that female wolves left their natal packs sooner than males.
Usually young wolves leave their natal pack and seek each other out to form a pack together. Wolves are also oppertunitsts and will take the chance to form their own pack should they choose to do so.
