Very interesting. I already knew Coyotes did that, but I never suspected wolves did too! Very cool.

Re: Wolves eating Berries
There you have it. Though I'm not 100% sure that it's true. But as stated above I have heard of them eating grass to help with their stomach.. Interesting video though. I believe I've seen it before, somewhere.Wolves will also eat grass to purge their digestive system when they have eaten something that does not agree with them. Food sources may differ and change depending on the season and geographical area, when large prey animals are scarce wolves will prey on mice, Rabbits and squirrels, these smaller prey do not provide a substantial part of the wolf's diet but supplement it when larger prey are scarce. Wolves will also eat wild berries and other fruit as a minor part of their diet.

I believe that source is correct ^^ Well actually all Carnivores and Omnivores including wolves will eat foods such as berries, Grass Etc. as a small part of the diet because it greatly helps with the flow of their digestive system also it helps with their stomachs. Anyways lovely and interesting video =P Its interesting to see wolves eating berries ^^There you have it. Though I'm not 100% sure that it's true. Re: Wolves eating Berries
They also eat berries when food is low, at least that is what my Wolf Book said so.
There are many secrets in this game, many of which may drive you insane.

I'm not really surprised..
Correct me if I'm wrong, but they ARE omnivores, aren't they?

Re: Wolves eating Berries
Yes wolves are omnivores ^^ If fact a very long time ago they were actually herbivores but they evolved into omnivores! They evolved into omnivores because in the winter the ice and snow made it very hard to find vegetation so they preyed on large animals.Lurking-Phantom wrote:I'm not really surprised..

Re: Wolves eating Berries
This is such a cute video! I read about wolves eating berries a while ago, but it was nice to see them do it.

Hehe. That video was really cute. I knew that wolves would eat berries, but I've never seen anything showing it. I've actually heard that some wolves in Russia have eaten watermelons off of plantations.
