One hundred years since hunting nearly wiped wolves out in Germany, they are moving out from their last bastion in the forests on the Polish border.

I heard about this! I think that it is amazing how wildlife can always find a way to grow and thrive once more even after being wiped out.
Absolutely great to hear. ^^

That's really good news to hear, the article also had an interesting interactive picture. Displaying the population of wolves in Europe. I was quite surprised (and pleased) at how many wolves there actually are in Europe. An interesting read, thank you for posting!

This is cool! I read in a book that wolves can travel up to 100 miles a day just tracking prey! So they can wander far and fast :) I hope they keep making their way south of Idaho and spread throughout other areas in the mid and south west and get the ecosystem back on track, good job wolfies! Keep repopulating Germany! I want to visit there one day, maybe when i come there will be even more and ill see one, that would be cool!

This is great news. It's good to see them living in places that seem the wrong environment. ^^
