I came across this tweet:
@nywolforg wrote:BREAKING BIG NEWS!
Critically endangered red wolf Charlotte (F2121) just GAVE BIRTH to at least 2 pups! Join them now via LIVE webcam (select "den 2")
The webcam can be found here:
I can't get the webcam to work on my phone, but from the looks of the comments, there has been some action. The NY Wolf Center website suggests that they suspect they have more pregnant red wolves.
Red wolves (canis rufus
) are apparently considered critically endangered.

Oh my goodness! How cute! Only the "den 2" cam works for me on that site, but that's fine because that's the one mentioned. There's a red wolf in the back of this arch-like inclosure, and there's this tiny little shadow that occasionally moves around near her belly. It's so sweet! Thank you for sharing! I'll definitely bookmark this site for more updates/peeks at F2121's pup(s).
i only want what's real

It looks like the red wolf pups are doing well and are growing fast. This month, one male pup who was born at the center earlier, M2234, was named by an elementary student - Maple. The NY Wolf Center posted a picture of him at this link. https://nywolf.org/conservation-minded- ... -red-wolf/
Come death, come suffering
I will not live in fear
In this fleeting life where time escapes us
The path of least resistance is a slow quiet death
I'd rather burn out than fade away
