  • (just saw the new picture whoops)
I love the radio collar idea. As mentioned before, it definitely adds to the realistic nature of the game. It might be sort of small, but it's little things like that that make a game better.

The new additions should be some sort of help with sales or overall attention. Its clear to see that in today's world, a lot of people (including me :p) enjoy good graphics and a few little add ons here and there.

Yep, Android (and Kindle) are possibilities the team plan to investigate.

Now that it is spring and Dave said it's likely released in April/May, I always hop out of bed to look for announcements now every morning. I am always keeping my eyes peeled for release dates and progress reports. So far the pictures are getting me all hyped! I remember how sad I was when I heard Cana was leaving, and that the forums and lexicon would follow her. I still had a hope that WQ would survive, and huzzah! Sticking around paid off.

Eh, well, it''s not coming out in April or May, alas. We're making solid, steady progress but not there yet. (This week's focus: lots of minor tweaks to multiplayer so player joining, leaving, and other events like pups dying are tracked properly. Next week's focus: Saving multiplayer games and setting up GUI to allow players to select a saved MP game and select/create a wolf to use in that game, plus first round of work on new wolf customization GUI).

So it sure isn't going to come out before June. I'm still aiming for June, but it may slip a bit further.

Thanks for the update. I didn't really think it would come out on time, but it's great to hear steady progress is being made! That's the most important part. Can't wait to see the new MP and wolf customization.

Thanks for the update! It's good to know what is going on. I'd rather wait for an awesome game than have a half-finished game right now. You guys are the best developing team I've ever seen, you actually lend a paw to help players and fans. You don't grab money and leave the game with a hundred bugs and errors. Just a quick question, what happened to Steve and Grant? Do they help with the game anymore?

Grant and Steve are no longer part of the WolfQuest Team, but both are still rightfully credited for their contribution.

Grant's (ZooGuy) position is now being handled by Carol, as sourced from Rikkuzilla's update post in this topic. As for Steve, I did some backtracking and it looks as though he hasn't been a part of the project since 2011. So the team has shrunk down.

Thanks for the update, Dave! Better it be slow progress with careful work and testing put into it. Put as much time into this as you guys need. :)
