Here is my top 5 favorite bugs: :D
1.) Praying Mantis-- they are awesome!
2.) Honey bee-- as long as they are not in a massive swarm, I'm cool with them
3.) Polyphemus moth
4.) Cecropia moth
5.) Hummingbird moth

Here is my top 5 most hated bugs: :x
1.) Mahogany wasp-- can't stand them! They can be hard to kill too. Don't use a fly swatter, use wasp poison.
2.) Cicada killer -- they scare me
3.) Black widow spider-- will put you in a hospital for weeks if bitten by one
4.) Brown recluse spider
5.) Roaches-- they nasty!

I just dissected this huge grasshopper in AP Biology today. Pretty interesting- bugs don't really bother me all that much. The only ones that might make me freak are spiders, but even then I'm okay with getting them in a jar and throwing them outside.

I especially don't like these spiders. They're also pretty dangerous if you get bitten.

i love insects like mantises and i am getting a mantis egg case for my birthday it's going to be tenodera senesis( chinese mantis) .fly are even Quite interesting to me because they have only two wings but it was said that all insects have 4 wings. it turns out that flies turned there other pair of wings in to balincing organs.Bees may look like they have only 2 wings but they 4 because the 2 wings are on top of each other. And grasshoppers and beetles have there fore wings turned in to elytra(hardened fore wings to protect the soft body inside).all though some insects have 4 wings some 0 wings like thrips, silverfish and springtails these insects are designed to under bark and perhaps like booklice or allso called bookwooms between the pages of books.well hope you find a lot of insects and spiders next summer!!
Nickname: Tenodera! (call me teno)
