Mara from the Caviidae family.

Creepy, how they are related to guinea pigs, I have no idea...

It's a huge picture, I suggest not clicking the zoom-in button.

I- I zoomed in XD
Very strange animal you posted there x3 wonderful question, but do the Proboscis monkies normally have large noses?

Yes. The males only have it though. It's a display to attract females of it's species.

You never seen these animal before? Well, actually most proboscis monkey lives in Malaysia or Indonesia. ^.^

C ockroaches. More like amazing. I find it strange yet intriguing how they're so hardy. Look at them. They're able to survive without air for 40-some minutes. And being able to be active without food for a month. And they're able to survive radiation. Disgusting yet amazing.

Echidnas and platypuses are also strange, laying eggs and all. Platypuses also look like a duck-beaver hybrid.

Aye-ayes. Those little weirdos them.

My aunt's dog could make himself his own species.

Edit: For some reason the site censored the name of the lovely little disgusting bug.

The scrambled egg jellyfish looks cool. It almost makes me hungry...O.o

The Fossa's not that weird IMO, I've seen them before. I think they're cute! It looks like a mix between an otter and a weasel.

The oddest animal, in my opinion, is the angler fish. If you have seen Finding Nemo you know what I'm talking about. The males are tiny and the females are huge and just..... weird

Sorry, not sure if anyone has said this already... I think the fathead fish is the weirdest animal. Most people just call it the blob fish because it is, essentially, a blob of goo. :|

There's a parasite out there that is the only known one to fully replace a body part of its host. It's the tongue-eating louse that feeds on the host fish's tongue, and the tongue eventually atrophies away and the parasite attaches to the muscles of the missing tongue. It then becomes the fish's new tongue, and it is fully functional- I think that's pretty weird!
The pictures are kinda' gross, but here they are for those interested:
