From what I read, the parasite actually doesn't harm the fish anymore than just replacing its tongue. It just feeds on the fish's blood and sometimes its mucus, but nothing life-threatening.

Ahaha, came here to mention that one... That guy is hilarious.Edme1 wrote:Sorry, not sure if anyone has said this already... I think the fathead fish is the weirdest animal. Most people just call it the blob fish because it is, essentially, a blob of goo. :|

In my opinion, the coconut crab is the strangest. It seems very, very..... weird to come across a two-foot crab. Just.... no.

It's the size of a trash can...... a good sized one nonetheless.

I have seen that picture before, but I thought it was edited. That's a very large crab, in my opinion.lucarioheart200 wrote:In my opinion, the coconut crab is the strangest. It seems very, very..... weird to come across a two-foot crab. Just.... no.

I think the mammoth crab is weird. It farms its own food on its front pincers!

Not exactly a species, but I did see a two-headed baby turtle once. It was really really weird. But cute, though. It was dead in an hour.

That's kinda sad, but probably for the best. If a two-headed turtle were to live to adulthood and have eggs, who knows what would have happened. It's best to just let evolution happen on its own. It nature wants to make a two-headed turtle, so be it.Starforest wrote:Not exactly a species, but I did see a two-headed baby turtle once. It was really really weird. But cute, though. Oh nature... you start to scary me.
I wouldn't leave my house again if I would see that guy on my trash can.
Yep.

And some type of forest lemur called an Aye-Aye. Apparently it`s endangered. And even though it`s creepy, it kinda grows on you.
