I think spiders are interesting. But I think frilled sharks are a bit weird, even thought I do like them. My mom says they look like broken eels.

Well, I have always thought Axolotls were strange animals, for I have never seen an animal like them ^^"

Another strange animal I know of is the Hagfish, which has a quite strange way of defending themselves x3 When there is a threat, they expell a strange slime/mucus from their bodies, so in case a predator had gotten a hold of them, they would slip away from their grip.

I love all the different kinds of strange animals. <3 I think that the Proboscis monkey is funny looking. The male has a huge nose. xD

It's a huge picture, I suggest not clicking the zoom-in button.

Very strange animal you posted there x3 Unintelligent question, but do the Proboscis monkies normally have large noses?

Yes. The males only have it though. It's a display to attract females of it's species.

Just learned about another odd animal the other day: the Mata Mata Turtle.
I just googled it, and the zoo where I found the information from is actually my local zoo. xD So I'll have to go back and check it out again and see if I can see the Mata Mata up close.

The weirdest animal you ask? The water bear. Oh my weirdnessness! The little guys are cute and ugly and ugly and ugly and cute and ugly and cute and cute. I cant post a picture of one, so if you want to see one, type in water bear, tardigrade or mud piglet. Mud Piglets are such cute names but Tardigrade makes them soung ugly. Water Bears are very common, even though they have 8 legs and Im not even sure if they're animals. Want to see a real water bear? Get a piece of wet moss and look at it under a telescope. They are soooo common. Water Bears also survive in extreme temperatures such -100 or 260 degrees! Also, they live like 100 and something years, survive in space and die but stay alive. Weird! To find out more about this little guy, look him up! Hes very interesting!

Thought the platypus was the only egg laying mammal? Well take a look at it's relative the Echidna, this spiky, long tongued mammal also lays eggs

Oh! I didn't know that echidnas lay eggs! Platypuses aren't the only ones, huh? I've heard of echidnas before, I think its from a video game... I think his friend from that game is one, so that's how I know what an echidna is.
