Hello Sweetpea RAWR,

Since this is more animal-related, I'll move this over to the Wildlife section :)

The reason sable fur is so valuable is because it remains smooth no matter which direction you stroke it. The fur of a dog or cat on the other hand will feel rough if you stroke it upwards

The first feces of a chinchilla is soft and immediately eaten. It then comes out hard the next time and is discarded. How they know the difference, though? I don't know that.

Irukandji jellyfish cannot be contained in normal aquariums because they are so small and fragile that the impact with a side of the tank would kill them.

Jellyfish don't have a brain. All they do is basically float around.

Then most jelly fish have no brains. And that doesn't prove they have eyes. They could sense the hand there by detecting water temperatures or something like that. We're getting off topic.

The only mammal that lays eggs is the platypus.

Inside a mother shark's womb, a battle goes on. Baby sharks hatch out of the eggs in the womb and the one that hatches first devours the other eggs. If another shark hatches they battle to the death so that the womb becomes a bloody mess, and then eat each other to survive. The dominating shark will be born.

The wolves favourite part of the fish is the brain, whereas the bears favourite part of the fish is the egg sac.

The stick bug goes through 3 transformations, first in the form of an ant, then in the form of the scorpion, and last but not least, the transformation of a stick/leaf bug.

Thats insane . . . talk about sibling rivalry.

There are 42 species of the Bird of Paradise species, and each is diverse in its mating dance and colors.
