otters are actually a subgroup of the weasel family wich als includes weasels,bagers,maritns etc. in north america only two species of otters are commenly found the sea otter and the nothern river otter

all seals sea lions and otters belong to the same group (the order carnivora) as dogs,cats,bears and weasels etc. the eared seals (a group of seals with external ears which inludes sea lions etc. were as the other group hair seals whitch includes elephant seals etc. do not)

eared seals and hair seals seem to have two different ancestors the eared seals seem to have a commen ancester with the bear while the hair seals seem to have a different ancestor which might be the ancestral member of the weasal

That would be the Lammergeier. And it doesn't eat just the marrow either, it eats the whole bone. Its stomach acid is base-1. That is stronger than battery acid!

Ah yes, Horseshoe Crabs are common along the beaches here in the spring and summer. Learned a lot about them from field trips when I was younger. =3
