To remove indigestible stomach content, sharks can force their stomachs inside out and vomit up their latest meal, and somehow not cut their stomachs open with their teeth. c:

The eyes of the donkey are placed in such a way that it can see all four feet at the same time.

Crocodiles can swallow large stones that stay permanently in their bellies and are used as ballast in diving.

Cats sleep most of their day away, up to sixteen hours.

Fire Ants are found in the jungles and when they bite people, their syliva/spit has a toxin. When one of these fire ants bite you it physically feels like you are on fire in the area they bit you. Too many of these bites can kill you.

I know this from family experince. When I was younger my mom ordered an ant farm. She helped me take care of them. For some reason they kept getting out and we had to fetch them. Then one bit her. Almost instantly her whole arm turned red and she discribed it as feeling like her whole arm caught fire. We then found out they were fire ants. I already knew a bit about them, but I have never seen them myself before then. She actually got bit twice before eventually without a repreducing indivedual they all died out. The only time we had ants after that was at a elementery school science fair. We made sure they were not fire ants that time. We have not done any ant farms since.

too keep on topic heres an animal fact

The group mammals is commenly known as the group that breaths air. This is false birds breath air and so do reptiles. Mammals are better known as the group/class of animals that nurses their young.

One third of the sperm whales body is actuallly its head.

Coral found on reefs are actually animals themselves. Inside the coral as something called a pollipe (not sure if its spelled right). the coral you see is actually basicly the skeleton of the pollipe

This fact also goes with most other striped/spotted mammals, such as zebras.

If you cut the whiskers off one side of a dog's face, it will be off-balance.

A puma can jump up to 8 feet in the air, and 20 feet horizontally from a standing position.

The bobcat is named for it's bobbed tail.

Honeybees have hair on their eyes for collecting pollen.

More human deaths have been attributed to FLEAS than all the wars ever fought.

DOLPHINS sleep with one half of the brain at a time, and one eye closed.

A SNAIL can sleep for three years if conditions are adverse (such as during a drought).

MOSQUITOES are attracted to the colour blue twice as much as to any other colour.

Kitten's/cat's claws allow them to get up trees easily but not so easily climbing down again. It has something to do with the curved claws that can grip while going up but not down. that's why lots of cats get stuck in trees
