Photos of rare Saharan animals

These animals were caught on camera from researchers studying Nigerian animals in the sahara. Some are actually really rare, for instance; I've never even heard of the Saharan cheetah.

the sandcats and foxes though, are my favourites. They seem rather cute and have silly poses.

Really neat pictures Pawnee! I really love the fennec foxes, they look so cute. =3
I don't think I've ever seen pictures of the African wild cat, though they are very neat cats.

Awesome pictures,Pawnee! I've heard of the wildcat,they are one of my favorite animals.The Fennec foxes are so cute!Iv'e never heard of a sand cat before-pretty unique creature.Wow,less than 10 Saharan cheetahs left?No wonder Iv'e never heard of them.A refuge is a great idea-it will allow the cats to reproduce and eventually return to the wild.Thanks for this!

Wow, thanks for sharing, Pawnee! A lot of these cats look a lot like just common house cats; never knew that they would look so alike. xD Though I had that same thought when I saw the Fishing Cat when I visited the San Diego Zoo, 'cause I saw it in the enclosure and thought it was just a house cat.
You can learn a lot about pictures of elusive species. =D
