Decorah Eagle Cam

Post by Kivia » Fri Apr 08, 2011 2:06 pm

I have another live wildlife cam to share with you all that is extremely popular right now; it's of a wild Bald Eagle nest in Decorah, Iowa. There were three eggs, and the last one just hatched on April 6th. It's a great cam too; very nice quality. I recommend checking it out to anyone interested in seeing what a Bald Eagle nest is like^^

I love watching this Bald Eagle ^^"
Though it may just be sitting there, you never know what it'll do.

Thank you for sharing this with is, Kivia!
It's wonderful quality. ;]
A bunch of geese just flew over the tree they are sitting in.

Aren't they just the cutest? xD

Yeah, as you mentioned Dusty, you never know what will happen. Today I thought one of the chicks was about to fall out of the nest because he moved really close to the edge! But when I got back on again, I think he was back under. =3

Oh I remember this guy! I saw him on the news while I was in the clinic, I find it very interesting how they got a camera so close to the eagle's nest. It's on the internet too? Then again, that is what they said on the news so yeah. xD Thanks for sharing this with us Kiv, you're great at finding wildlife cameras!

Wow, that looks very interesting, I love how the eagle seems so protective of the kids :D

It does look cold up there though! It's quite windy.

Wow, this webcam is amazing! C: I managed to see the mother guarding her chicks when I went on, it was pretty cool, although it did sound quite windy up there.^^" Thanks for sharing this Kivia, I'll make sure to keep on following the chicks as they grow up :)

Aw, they're cute ^^ Can't really see them right now though, plus it's windy. The eagle is beautiful, too ^^ Love the quality of the cam too, and how close it is. Kind of cool how the eagle looks straight at it sometimes.

The eaglets are simply adorable! The parents are pretty beautiful also! I love animal cams like these, awesome quality and close enough to the animal to where you can see it clearly.

Wow, I haven't watched the cam for a couple of days but when I checked back today I was astounded at how much the chicks had grown - they now have grey feathers and they look so different to before. :'D

I know, right? xD
I didn't watch for the past week since I was on vacation, and now they're getting so big! I'm excited since I've never watched little eaglets grow up before. =3

The eagles are such good parents as well; right now, mom is feeding one baby fish and dad is feeding the other two something else (I can't see what it is).
The chicks look fat, lololol.
