Red Panda- General Discussion

Post by Oceansong-Direwolf » Mon Jun 06, 2011 9:47 pm

Red pandas aren't really bears, but they aren't raccoons either. They are odd creatures. So, what do you know about them? Have you ever seen a real one (like at a zoo or something)? Do you have a passion for them like I do? Well, start typing away x)

I've seen a red panda before, in a zoo of course. They are actually quite cute, with their small faces and long bushy tails. My favorite red panda feature is their tails though, I wish I could just snuggle up to one and sleep. xD

I've also heard that red pandas are endangered. Are they?
everything out of the ordinary is considered weird, i try to stay clear of the eathlings and their fears

Yes, unfortunately they are endangered. I think they are so beautiful, from the coloration of their fur to their cute little faces and tails. They're also known as "Fire Foxes" in some places.

Actually, in some places you can own red pandas, or so a documentary on them says... I can actually believe that. I have heard the story of a guy here in the USA who got his pinky finger bitten of by his red panda who had rabies. I forgot where he was, though.

They are cute. ^^ Unfortunately, I don't have any at my zoo.

I know someone who thinks they are raccoons and won't be told otherwise.

Wow. Red pandas are very adorable and special creatures. I recently learned that Red pandas are skilled climbers. They spend most of their time hanging from tree branches or lounging on limbs. They're most active in the early morning and evening hours.

Red pandas are adorable. Those tails <3 I've seen one at a zoo, I wanted to take it home and just cuddle it all day. It's too bad they're endangered.

skfjdk I want to see one hanging from a tree branch now.

I love red pandas :) I had to do this whole report on them and it was so much fun. They are very interesting animals but sadly they are endangered.

I saw one at the zoo this year, it was so cute. I don't know much about them, but they seem to be very shy creatures.

Yes, I do believe they are like normal pandas that way.. from what I know, regular pandas are quite shy. ^^
I really want to see one at a centre or zoo sometime. They are very unique creatures. ^^

I did a project two years ago on Red Pandas. Adorable little creatues, although they're not very similar with their black and white counterpart. xD
