Well I have taken care of baby birds and mice before and nearly a baby coyote although never have I truly "raised" one. I really hope in the future I get the chance to although I understand they are wild animals and most need professional care to grow up correctly. ^^

Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of doing so. I think a few opportunities aroused in the UK, but my parents insisted it would do more harm to interfere with nature. Raising a wild animal is definitely on my bucket list though!

Hey, hey! I remember something that happened a long time ago.

My father found an injured owl when he was driving home from work. I don't know what species it was, but I'm thinking Great Gray, if I am remembering correctly. We didn't raise it, but we kept it for a few hours. Later that night it was able to fly again. :D

When I was younger, I raised a hummingbird which had injured itself on our patio. We released it a few days later. What a nice experience ^^

Not too long ago, I made 2 little exhibits and adopted two dolomedes spider from my dock. Upon noticing one had an egg sack, and was larger, the other one being smaller (Larger dolomedes spiders and normally females), we figured it was a female and named it Josephina. We released them in the end, seeing that the egg sack was growing rapidly xD

I once took in newborn orphan squirrels. Their eyes were still closed when we got them from somone who found them out in their yard after a storm. The person who gave them to us said that a thunderstorm had come through and blew their nest down. We took them in and placed them in an empty fish tank with plenty of little blankets for warmth. Unfortunatly, after a week of caring for them they died. :(

It warms the cockles of my heart to see some many people caring!

Yes I have, raised a duck before. Since she was a baby, her name was Killer. There is a story behind her killer, I used to feed her bread and she would attack it then eat it like a starving dog. It was very cute since she was only a few weeks old. She had a very happy 3 years of life. She got out of her living areas when she was about one then she flew back for food and I caught her putting her back. She was very spoiled when she lived in the house. I would bath her, let her play around and feed her. It was so sadly though when her life came to a end when she was three.

I usually take care of birds that fell of their nests, but I don't know if they are considered wild animals. x3 They were Bright, Orange, WoodyWud and Screenshot. :D

At least once annually, a bird hits our widows e.o We take care of them for a day and then give them to a wildlife refuge. Animals were not meant to be in the hands of people. They think people are all nice and then someone shoots them. You shouldn't feed wild animals because then they think people have all the food and all people are friendly when in fact, sadly, not all are. But, my mother has raised a skunk :D. They are pretty awesome. And she has also raised a fox when she was little. She named it Foxy :3

I've raised a Blue Jay, since it was born.
Ever since then the bird(Peeps) was used to humans, and well we would try to see if the parents would take it back, after an incident of the bird falling out of our Holley tree, due to a snake slithering up.
We had peeps for about 4 years, didn't know what gender peeps was, though we looked it up and still couldn't figure out, but peeps was fairly friendly to people, would go up to them and they be shocked of seeing a wild bird approach them.
They would feed peeps then during a rain storm or a light shower, we would have the cage outside and the door open, the bird was smart enough and flew inside to stay dry.
After those long years of having peeps was very interesting, as of how it would mock our telephone ring and do a long pitch sound, like a whistle.
Great times ;3

Aw man, I love the stories on this topic. I'm afraid I've never had a similar experience myself, but I just adore seeing all of this.

The only thing we ever took care of were stray cats, haha :p

Well, there was this old umbrella in my back yard that had to be removed, but it turned out that a bunch of bats where living there. Most of them flew away, but there was one baby bat that got its wings damaged but the umbrella swinging around and couldn't fly. Thus, my brother and I took it into out house for a while, brought it to the vet, and got it fixed up. Just recently, we let the bat go. \o/

My sister and I found an abandoned baby bunny in the middle of our yard one day, and brought him home and raised him. Sadly he was sick and died a year or so later. Most of the animals I find now that are hurt I immediately contact the proper organization.
