  • Yes, I agree with everyone else that this is a hoax. When things are usually fake, the video quality is horrible so no one can decipher what the thing actually is. As Criox stated, the trunk appeared very limp and at times it actually went underwater, which wouldn't be natural behavior. This creature is a bear, obviously not an elephant or mammoth, both of those options would be too big to match this creature's appearance.

Definitely a hoax. For one thing, the animal is way too small to be a mammoth. Look at the size of the environment around to it. A real mammoth would be way larger in proportion. The quality is also terrible. If the guy filming is a government employed engineer, then why doesn't he have better equipment? my iPhone could take better video than that. For another, take a closer look at the 'trunk' as it zooms in. The color doesn't match up with the rest of the body (it's actually silver), and way too floppy and limp. And, as someone else pointed out, the 'trunk' is dragging in the water, which a real mammoth wouldn't do. Finally, has anyone noticed that there aren't any tusks?
Watch the video again, except picturing it as a bear. It makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?

This isn't real.
1.The supposed "mammoth' Is small
2. No tusks
3.If this was really a mammoth there would have to be more
4. Some plants the mammoth ate have become extinct
5. The quality is bad for a reason: It's a bear
Shh, shh, do you hear that? Those are the winds of change.
