I still like Sintact's ideas. You just keep perfecting them over and over again. It just seems the most scientifically correct and accurate. I also like how the "Newborn" status is being used, considering that some of the newer members question why they don't have a rank at the begining.

Nice and simple. I love them. Tough, I would make the higher ranks just a little bit more easier to earn.

Dispersal Wolf - 800-1500 posts

Graduated, Master or Skilled?

I'm not really sure about the last one, I had a better idea than that... but as soon as I started this new post I forgot it. I hope that later on I can remember of my actual idea and edit this post, other than that you know that suggestions are open, maybe we can get even a better name than the one I was thinking of.

And since when is there a senior wolf biologist rank? on the wolfquest faq,it says the highest rank is field wolf biologist.

anyways,here's my ideas for new ranks.

12,500-new field wolf biologist
0-newborn
change 15,000 from field wolf biologist to exprienced field wolf biologist.
350-pack leader without pups
change 500 to pack leader with pups
20,000-one of the most exprienced field wolf biologists in the world.
35,000-half wolf,half human
50,000-wolfquest forums elder
100,000-no rank;but these users have a really special extra-large avatar that covers up the space where their rank used to be

The "one of the most experienced wolf biologists in the world" would take up quite a bit of space, and i dont really like the half wolf half human thing- makes it sound like a were wolf XD rest i like

My ideas updated;

Newborn- 0-20
Pup- 20- 100
Yearling- 100- 200
Pack member- 400- 800
Pack Leader- 800- 1200
Wolf elder- 1200- 1500
Great Wo,f- 1500- 2000
The Wolf legend- 2000+

Some of them arent good but i thought i would post them any way :)

These ranks are still wonderful, Sintact, and reasonable. I think that I like Master . . . Graduated just sounds more like human-ish than anything.

My vote goes to Sintact's ideas - they are realistic in both ways. 9000 is already a lot of posts.

A little bit too fast to earn, but otherwise, they are ok.

I think all ranks should be kept, but it really ruins the fun when you go and post them before anyone actually earns them.

only thing is the later ranks people simetimes get confused and think people are actually what the rank describes.

I think that perhaps some ranks at 25,000 and 30,000 posts should be added, though I do not have any ideas for actual names.

Newborn= 0-100
Pup= 101
Yearling=300
Dispersal Wolf= 650
Pack Member = 860
Pack Leader= 6000+
I agree with SH, but, maybe swap dispersal and pack member? I mean you have to be a pack member before being a dispersal right? XD
