Beta Testers are users who pe-test the game to check and see if there are any bugs/glitches in the game before it is released.

A beta tester is someone who tests the beta (not-yet-released) version of the game. A beta tester’s job is to play the entire game to make sure everything works properly on different operating systems and computers, and to help catch bugs and glitches so less are in the game when it’s released. If they notice anything that should be changed, they tell the game programmers so these bugs can be fixed before the general public starts to play. This makes for a much better and more playable game, and prevents the Development Team from having to release as many updates with bug fixes. We’d much rather spend our time developing the next new game release than finding ways to make an updated game and let everyone know they have to uninstall their old game and download and install the new one.
