Unlikely, Cana may just be away from the computer and did not close it yet... I hardly doubt that wq made it through the court system but possible!

Possibly. If they passed the budget(Which there was a small chance they would) then there won't be a shutdown.

EDIT: Bad news, the budget was not passed. http://news.yahoo.com/minnesota-state-g ... 06669.html

Weird, it's 1:30 am here (I live in Minnesota), but apparently WQ hasn't shut down (yet, anyway)...

I'm trying not to get my hopes up in case it is shut down.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Wow, the States are far too confusing in how their governments run. Canada's far simpler. It's too bad that they couldn't pass the budget. Hopefully, they will come up with a compromise soon since many of us will miss WQ while it is down.

Good luck everyone.

Well, this isn't the best of news, is it?

It'd definitely be a shame to see WolfQuest go down for some time, as I'm sure you can already tell from all of these comments surrounding my own. Though it isn't as big of a part of my life as it used to be, I still enjoy popping on the forum every daw or two to hang around and update some topic information.

Gosh, you can never guess with the government or economy. It's nice to hear that the Minnesota Zoo has emergency plans, but let's all hope that it doesn't come down to that. It'd be a shame to see such a popular, beautiful place go down in a funding cut.

For the time being, all we can do is wait for an outcome. So far the website hasn't shut down... now, hopefully it can stay that way, but I wouldn't make it a big 'stresser' at the moment. Just remain stable and be happy that your able to type in this beloved gray box on this beloved website. c;

It is now about 5 hours after the deadline. Everyone is still concerned and clueless about the WQ situation. And my question is the same as everyone elses. What is happening to WQ?

We have yet to figure it out, and although im trying not to get my hopes up as it is unlikly that they will agree on a budget, Everyone is hoping they figure it out. I'm as concerned as everyone else and i espessially hope the zoo is ok.

It's about 6:50 am here in florida, idk how many hours ahead we are from Minnesota. But everything's still working for me! I heard that the zoo is trying to make a deal to stay open for the 4th of July weekend cause it'll bring in lots of money... I hope that's the explanation for all this! :D
