I downloaded as well (loving single player right now), but yeah, I tried to join MP and it froze... But I can live without it for a bit, lol.

so far ive managed to join a multiplayer game, but all anyone did was complain that they "needed a mate"

Congratulations with 1.6 :) I will download it right now, as I for once am using Windows right now. Definitely looking forwards to see how the FPS enchancements work on Linux.

I might die of boredom if this doesnt get fixed soon. usually, all I do from eleven to eleven is play multiplayer... (yes I know. I have no real life)

really? multiplayer for the most part works for me, every now and then it does not let me join a game, but usually I can play it. I am on a laptp with Windows Vista.

Anyway, I love the new update :D I just wish more people could play multiplayer, there is usually like only one game open for me to join.

you are so lucky that you can get on.... Im on a laptop with windows vista too but I can only get into three or four packs and no one can come to mine... :cry:

Oh my, it's more than just FPS enchancements taking effects on Linux! I have finally managed to play multiplayer somewhat decently, although with some Linux-specific bugs. Earlier, WQ lagged too much on Linux to even play singleplayer, but now I can play with 10-12 FPS on fastest, even on MP. I know it's not a big number, and that it's on the very lowest setting, but it's working, and that's more than before :)

I'll send in a bug report for the most annoying bug.

immad that when i played on the old version there was more people now the most games ive seen at one time was three and i only was able to connect to a grand total of two games because it froze on me
